United Benefits offers a spectrum of health plans that include Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC), Minimum Value(MV), and Metallic Level plans (bronze to platinum). Our program is managed under a single administrative platform and an individual risk umbrella with A-rated carriers.

 

 

Limited Day Medical Plans

Limited Day Medical plans offer an Affordable Care Act compliant alternative to typical MEC and Fixed-Indemnity options while providing coverage for a wide range of important health services ranging from doctor visits to hospital stays. Benefits are paid directly to providers, while members are only responsible for low copayments and a monthly premium to maintain coverage – there is no deductible or coinsurance.

This offering is ideal for those who cannot afford or are not eligible for traditional fully-insured plans. United Benefits has partnered with best-in-class Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) to offer this unique program. Limited Day Medical plans are favorable for employers with a large ratio of hourly or seasonal workers or low-wage employees, such as:
